Heyl Truck Lines offers one-stop shopping with a variety of services for all our customers’ transportation and storage needs.  In addition to our own equipment, our brokerage divisions in Iowa, Washington, and Texas have nearly 1,500 reputable carriers on file that can help with any needs our customers may have.  We have dry warehousing available at our terminals in Akron, Iowa and Yakima, Washington.

Our strength is hauling loads destined for the Midwest, specifically Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota.  Transporting any load destined for Canada, with the main focus on Alberta, is also a strong point for Heyl.  Our main areas of availability are California, Texas, Washington, Florida, the Northeast, and the Midwest.  Although these are our most concentrated areas of travel, we can provide equipment in almost any area of the United States and Canada.

Traffic lanes

We have authority to operate in the lower 48 states and Canada.  Our most consistent lanes have always been refrigerated products from the Midwest and Canada to the South, Southeast, and West.  Also included are return loads of general temperature-controlled commodities from Florida, Texas, California, and Washington.

Safety

Heyl has always maintained a high regard for safety on the road by continually updating and refining our safety programs.

Each driver undergoes screening and a reference check before being hired.  Heyl also has an ongoing Safe Driver Training Program.

Our trucks must pass a pre-trip inspection before traveling.  Since we stress safety and good driving, Heyl performs with nearly a 100 percent on-time delivery record.
