Summary
The position of Wash Bay Attendant is a key position within the organization responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our fleet, including trucks and trailers, by performing washing and cleaning duties in our wash bay.
Essential Functions & Duties
Driving and parking trucks and trailers on the yard.
Must be able to stand, walk, and may be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
Use high pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning agents to ensure thorough cleanliness.
Clean and wash interior and exterior of trucks and trailers according to company standards.
Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and notify supervisors of any issues.
Keep the wash bay area clean, organized, and free of debris.
Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate protective equipment while performing tasks.
Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and drivers regarding vehicle cleaning schedules.
Assist with minor vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
Assist with grounds work as needed.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow cleaning procedures.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication skills.
Physical ability to perform the required tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
None
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Valid Driver's License is preferred
CDL is helpful, but not required
Computer Skills
Basic computer and software skills required
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with an average work week of 45 hours. Every other Saturday 7:00 AM-12:00 PM, or as needed.
Working Conditions
The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work is mostly performed in an environment that is subject to temperature fluctuations as the outdoor temperature fluctuates. This job requires a moderate degree of physical fitness and mobility. Bending, squatting, stooping, climbing, crawling, and lifting up to 100 lbs. is required.
