Summary
The position of Yard Jockey is a key position within the organization responsible for moving equipment to/from the wash bay, truck shop, and trailer shop. This role will also be responsible for fueling equipment at the yard when required.
Essential Functions and Duties
Operate and move equipment within the yard.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Document equipment damage
Advise shop of needed repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all OSHA regulations and safety requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, and operate a semi tractor-trailer unit
Must be able to lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Required Qualifications
CDL Class A is preferred
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Additional Eligibility Qualifications
None
Computer Skills
Basic computer and software skills required.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm, with an average work week of 45hours. Additional hours may be required on an as needed basis.

Work is mostly performed in an environment that is subject to temperature fluctuations as the outdoor temperature fluctuates. This job requires a moderate degree of physical fitness and mobility. Bending, squatting, stooping, climbing, crawling, and lifting up to 100 lbs. is required.
